At this young age Danny has much experience being naturally media friendly. Well  versed in corporate hospitality and speaking events.  Danny is right at home in front of a camera as well as audience interaction.

The signing of autographs since age 5 and attending luncheons with corporate Vice Presidents come naturally.

Oh, by the way, he can drive the wheels off a racecar!

Danny Efland Biography
Danny Efland was born in Irmo, South Carolina with racing in this veins. His father was on the track testing a race car in Savannah, Georgia when the call came that Danny’s birth was imminent. The entire crew rushed 150 miles, and made it in time, celebrated this birth, and was back at the track testing for the SCCA National Championship the next morning. Although he was a ‘race track brat’ from the beginning, his first race was not until the ripe old age of 5 at
Columbia Speedway, South Carolina.

His first wins were as a seven year old in outlaw go karts. He ran his first
sanctioned go kart race two months into his eighth year in the Word Karting Association National in Daytona, Florida.

During the 1999 and 2000 seasons, Danny won 5 WKA National Championships, 7 State Championships, WKA Triple Crown, 2 Grand National Titles and dozens of races from New York to Florida all while maintaining standing in the academically gifted program in his school and being named as a South Carolina Junior Scholar.

Danny was featured on the cover of 3 karting magazines and had TV segments of his highlights on “Racing in the Carolinas” and “Kids in Racing.”

As a 13 year old, Danny moved to stock cars. During 2002 he campaigned a Pro-Modified Mustang from this family’s shop in Irmo, South Carolina, racing at Florence Motor Speedway outside of Darlington, South Carolina and Summerville Motor Speedway outside of Charleston, South Carolina. With the preliminary goal of learning to drive a full size car, Danny
surprised everyone by winning numerous races and the Florence Motor Speedway Track Championship as well as “Rookie of the Year.”

Danny is probably the youngest stock car track champion ever. During the season he was invited to make a couple of starts in a Late Model, and with excitement showing in his eyes, he knew the power of the Late Model was where he next wanted to go.

During the 2003-2004 season Danny competed in the UARA-STARS Late Model Stock Touring Series finishing 8th in the points and gained experience on such fabled tracks as Nashville, Hickory, Coastal Plains and Myrtle Beach against drivers who also run the Craftsman Truck Series, Busch Cars and Hooters Pro Cup Cars to name a few.

"Danny broke into the late model stock win column in 2005 and was a dominate driver in 2006, winning 7 times with only 2 races outside the top 5! Along the way he picked up the John Newsome Chevy regular season Championship."
